However, they were real gangster about it and we're like, "that sucks, you know what, here you go" and gave us the store's demo copy for testing. We were out of luck, no copies were left, this was back when preordering was actually necessary. We immediately went back and they were like, "yo, did you snap the disc?" And we were like, "um, bro, it was a new copy and we were in here fifteen minutes ago." And they were like, "oh, yeah, nice to see you again." Lul. Upon our return, I immediately went to play and believe it or not, the disc was snapped in half. The characters interact with each other like they are friends during the cutscenes, which is not something you get to enjoy when you watch their cartoons and movies.Homie, back when Mortal Kombat Armageddon was released (arguably my favorite gaming series), I went with my mother to pick it up, I was so excited. ![]() If you are a fan of Disney cartoon characters, then playing Kingdom Hearts III almost feels like you are hanging out with them on one of their adventures. ![]() If you played the first South Park Stick Of Truth game (Fractured But Whole is not worth playing), then part of the pleasure comes from the cut scenes in equal measures to the pleasure you feel when playing. ![]() The game is less about overarching narrative and is more about enjoying time with your favorite Final Fantasy and Disney characters. There is a running story line between all the Kingdom Hearts games, but it takes little more than a bit of plot reading on Wikipedia to catch up on what has happened previously. You fight your way through RPG areas with your cartoon comrades and use the key to seal the world off against evil cartoon characters. Kingdom Hearts III is similar to the other games where a character wields a key that blocks an invasion by dark forces. Evil cartoon characters fight against Square Enix and Disney characters in RPG and combat games/missions. Fight off swarms of Heartless while scaling massive cliffs, diving deep underwater, or even freefalling through the air Experience unique gameplay elements custom designed for each new world. Kingdom Hearts III continues with the same story as the previous games where the power of friendship is used to defeat the looming darkness.
